as if to prove that he truly loves water (ahwah for shower being one of his first words), a recent shower session revealed some new antics (usually BBB showers him in the morning and in the evening as i have LP for most of the day).
~ he can "wash" his body. tell him its time to wash his body, drop some body wash on his palm. he rubs his palms together then proceeds to rub his torso. its so cute, i must remember to shoot video of it
~ he can squirt water from the faucet. if he blocks the flow with his palm, he can squirt the water in many directions. so that's how water drops end up in places i'd never seen them at before! he gives a bonus laugh if i shriek when the cold water sprays me
~ he can drink from the faucet. its simple. he holds on with one hand and bends to sip from the flow. and he turns around to make sure i can see. good thing we've had our tap water tested and its all clear
~ he understands that we need to stop the shower first before he can play with the tap. this helps ensure that we are actually done showering (soaping and rinsing) before the play begins. however, being only 1, his impatience overtakes him, ensuing in an argument and a re-explanation that turning the tap on affects the shower pressure, and that we must be done with the job before we play. does he understand all that? i guess so.
