i knew it might happen. went to imperial palace with friends last weekend with friends who did say they had a cold. beso-beso & hung out anyway. tuesday i had a scratchy throat. i was fearing flu-like symptoms, but fortunately strepsils did its job and i only have an occasional couch and irritable throat.
LP was not as lucky. he started sneezing wednesday. he had a runny nose by thursday. fortunately he was still his own jolly self. however, he did need help with breathing at night so i gave him a dose of nasatapp, which his pedia had prescribed the first time he had a cold. it was that or he would keep waking up irritable because his nose was full. friday was not so much sneezing and runny nose, but i still gave him nasatapp to help him sleep.
today was almost ok except now he has this irratable throat too and coughing makes him so red in the face. he was being testy about his late afternoon nap and kept insisting a'! to say he wanted out of his playpen. my mother who is here for a few days thinks she should do as he says so i had to take over. he was shouting himself hoarse to coughing, and then he lost the milk he'd just had. fortunately none on the living area carpet. all on himself, a bit on me, and mostly the floor.
but no nasatapp tonight. hopefully tomorrow it gets even better. me too.
