jet-lagged disjointed thoughts

arrived back in cebu last tuesday and have had a cold and bad jet lag since. my nose is stuffy today, but its the best i've been since arriving. as in grabe, non functional entity ako. BBB has jet lag too but no cold. at least today i can see my ankles. they swelled from the flight and i couldn't see the veins on top of my usually veiny feet. i was like "fuck, no way" so i'm glad to report they're back to normal now. only my nose is busted. sleep pattern almost there too. today i woke up before six am, at least not 4am. even our daytime eating schedule is screwed up and we can only manage dinner together. maybe today we'll manage lunch together.

baby's still here. i'm due for some blood tests and pre-natal testing, but i'm waiting for this cold to clear up, or else some strange cold-related stuff might show up in the tests. screening for gestational diabetes is standard i guess, as i'm due for that test too. i'm now at about 21 or 22 weeks (depends when you actually start counting) and visibly pregnant, though sometimes that still depends on what top i wear.

i am still putting away stuff in my closet and separating the stuff i can't wear but intend to keep from those i intend to let go of. the trouble with having a lot of closet space is unconsciously filling it up over time. also mentally (though not purposely--though necessity requires it) going over things that need doing in preparation for having a baby in the house--more closet space, have washing machine fixed, etc, etc. and wondering what to do about the cat that sleeps at our feet.

my vision seems more blurred than usual. a side effect of pregnancy, or so i've read.

still haven't told my mom i'm pregnant, but don't really want to put it off much longer.

have downloaded pictures but haven't uploaded them yet. in the next week i guess.
